Bunker tour

During the Bunker Tour of approximately one hour, a guide tells how 250 German soldiers worked and lived in this place during the war. A number of bunkers can be admired from the inside. Take a flashlight with you, because that will complete the discovery tour!

Steam train festival Maldegem

Every year the driving season of the Maldegem steam train starts in the spring with the Steam Train Festival: a journey back to the past. The ideal day trip for young and old. Herring Motorcycle Ride

This is a tour for motorcycles that can be done individually or in groups, using a clear route description. Participants in this ride can register at the market in Biervliet from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Morning walk to Sint Kruis

It is a “slow” walk along the most beautiful walking paths of the Eekloose waterway. Along the way we listen to a poem and enjoy the silence and spring. The walk ends around 11:30 am with soup and baguette.

Open weekend ostrich farm

In the shop (in African style) there are various ostrich products on display and for sale. There are the beautifully shiny eggs that serve excellently as decoration. A delicious liqueur (a kind of eggnog) is also prepared from the eggs, which is of course available and can be tasted. Traditionally, there is also the now well-known ostrich cake with coffee.
