Damen Breskens Sailing Weekend

Location: Breskens Harbour
From August 27 to 30, the port of Breskens will be the setting for the annual Breskens Sailing Weekend. This top sporting event attracts sailing enthusiasts from home and abroad, with exciting races on the Westerschelde. There is also plenty to experience for spectators: admire the impressive sailing yachts up close, enjoy the maritime atmosphere, and stroll along the lively harbor promenade.

Kerzand Fair

Location: Cadzand
From September 4 to 6, it is time for the Kerzand Fair again.
On Friday afternoon, there is a social gathering (for seniors) with freshly baked waffles and live music in the Zwingebouw.
Saturday, September 5: children's play afternoon at the C-zand sports pavilion, followed by a Quiz in the Zwingebouw in the evening.
Sunday, September 6: shooting at the horizontal seesaw in the sports pavilion.

Mussel Weekend Sluis

From September 11 to 13, Sluis will be all about the Zeeland mussel during this mussel weekend. In the atmospheric fortified town, restaurants will serve their own surprising creations featuring mussels as the main ingredient.
In addition to well-known classics, you will also discover unique mussel dishes. Strolling brass bands will add to the atmosphere in the streets. On Friday afternoon, you can get acquainted with mussel preparation on the Beestenmarkt while enjoying live music.

Open Monument Day
12 and 13 September
Location: various locations in Zeeland
On 12 and 13 September, special monuments open their doors to visitors free of charge.
